Quaker Sales App

Cut through complexity.

The challenge

In Spring 2022, the Quaker sales team faced a daunting task: navigating a complex sales process that required extensive research and preparation for each unique channel, like hospitals, businesses, and educational institutions. Salespeople were burdened with compiling multiple sell sheets and codes from a range of sources, making client presentation prep cumbersome and time-consuming. This inefficient system hindered the team’s ability to easily sell Quaker’s amazing product range.

The solution

What I developed as a solution was a streamlined sales app. By sorting products by channel and displaying them with strategic insights, the app simplifies the sales process. Beauty shots and crafted compositions now showcase products in their intended settings. Each product page is now a clear display of useful information, including nutrition facts, digital sell sheets, and relevant equipment. Designed to embody Quaker’s warm, wholesome brand, the app ensures that salespeople spend less time on prep and more time showing off Quaker products. From insights gathered on usage of the app, I was able to see that the app is continuing to gain traction within their organization and reached the engagement we were hoping to see.

Working on the Quaker sales app has been a journey of growth for me. Delving into Quaker’s processes, I had to develop an app that not only meets the sales team’s needs and elevates the Quaker brand, but create an experience that would be easy for them to use and feel very comfortable. This project has honed my skills in user-centric design and strategic content placement, shaping me into a more insightful designer. It’s a testament to the power of thoughtful design in turning challenges into solutions. By tracking analytics and usage throughout its lifespan, we saw a significant jump in productivity, meaning the app was successful in giving time back to the hardworking people over at Quaker.
